So the 1971 MVP was none other than George Boomer Scott. Scott had an incredible season as noted earlier, he won the batting title hitting .352. Now, you're probably saying, Mr.Watts, isn't this the exact thing you've been whining about when perusing OOTP18? Well yes it is. But, no it's not. See with 16 Scott will more than likely revert back to normal after this great season. With 18, he would more than likely have an even better 72 and follow it with another monster season. Greg Luzinski hit .356/.439/.646/1.085 in 1970. He followed that up in 1971 with a .281/.396/.553/.949.
