Been a while since I updated, but I am now in 1919. To give a quick 12 year review:
- I made a decent season out of my horrible start in 1908 to finish 79-75 in 4th place, 15 GB.
- Dominated the season going 106-48, but lost in the World Series in seven games to the Cardinals.
- Good season at 94-60, but finished in 2nd place, 14 GB an incredibly dominant Browns team.
- Finally got back on top with a 102-52 and won my 2nd World Series. After 11 seasons, there is only 1 season I have had a losing record. This would change.
- I took over the Chicago White Sox, who were the worst team in 1911, and promptly posted my second losing record at 69-85 in 7th place, 28 GB.
- Another losing season at 64-90 in 7th Place, 37 GB.
- Another losing season at 72-82 in 5th Place, 22 GB, but an improvement.
- My 4th straight losing season at 73-81 in 5th Place, 21 GB.
- The division was weak as I finished on top at 89-66 beating Philadelphia in a 1-game playoff to decide the pennant and miraculously won my 3rd World Series in 7 games after being down 3-1.
- I took over the crosstown Chicago Cubs, the worst team in 1916 and posted a 71-83 season, in 7th place, 14.5 GB.
- Posted another 71-83 season in 5th place, 23 GB. This made losing seasons in 6 of my last 7 seasons.
