Both
Rangers stars remain out for game two, but
Earl Robinson played. The best setup man on the team registered 3 assists in
New York’s 3-1 win.
Robinson has 64 assists over the past two seasons.
Game 3
Bun Cook’s 6th goal of the playoffs was the winner late in the third for the
Rangers. They win gme three, 2-1 and amazingly, are just one win away from their first championship without
Charlie Conacher and
Cecil Dillon.
Game 4
Game four is never close.
Hec Kilrea and
Frank Peters scored 30 seconds apart in the first. That seemed to take the wind out of
Philly’s sails. The
Rangers led 4-0 after two, and end up winning 5-0. The
Rangers win the Stanley Cup!
