12 team League. One Subleague. No Divisions(1951-1960 league was split into two 6 team divisions). 14 game round robin schedule.

Three teams qualify for the postseason.
Team that finishes the regular season with the best record, earns a spot in the Southern League championship series. This team also earns home field advantage in the best of seven 2/3/2 series.
The teams that finish 2nd and 3rd earn a trip to the Southern League wildcard series. Best of seven 2/3/2

I allow historical modifiers to update yearly for historical accuracy. Started in 1947. My league is currently 09/10/1970.

I plan on importing modifiers yearly until I finish the 1986 season. From that point forward, I will use a random number generator to select a season between 1978-1986. If for example the generator selects 1980, I will then use 1980's modifiers for the season. When that season is over, I will use 1981 for the following season, 1982 the next and so on, until I finish 1986 again. I will then pull out the number generator again.

Once I reach 86 league strategy will freeze

My financial are that of 1947 and will be 1947 forever. I use free agency, but no compensation. 5 round drafts each year.
