GAME #63

Devils 7
Predators 3

Shots on Goal: 48-26




Sam Reinhart goes off recording three goals and two assists as Devils crush Predators by the score of 7-3. Chard Colan also had a five point night, while Oskar Lindblom had a four point night. The Smith-Blanchette-Bailey line struggled witht the three players going a combined -8. The top pairing also had a tough night with Parkkonen and Holm being a combined -5. Ed Sharp will reportedly return for the Predators next game against the Coyotes.

GAME #64

Predators 4

Shots on Goal: 26-37




Predators win the shot clock but lose in a shootout as Petr Straka scores twice and adds an assist for the Coyotes. Josh Bailey had a goal and two assists in the loss, while Nicklas Backstrom and Jake Milan had a two point night. Jake Moscatel had a strong game for Nashville getting 6 shots in just five minutes of ice time. Holm and Parkkonen struggled for the second straight game on the blueline. Good news is in store for the Predators as Sean Day and Brett Mohler are scheduled to return from the injured reserve list.

GAME #65

Panthers 4
Predators 2

Shots on Goal: 39-25




Panthers control both ends of the ice throughout the game and lead by Zach Nastasiuk’s goal and assist get the 4-2 win. Sean Day struggled in his first game back in the lineup after a long hiatus ending the game a -2. Ed Sharp had a strong performance for the Predators recording six shots on net, but was held off the scoresheet by Ryan Kubic and the rest of the Pantehrs defense.

GAME #66

Shots on Goal: 39-42




Stars tie the game late, but Predators win in a shootout in which Filip Forsberg and Nicklas Backstrom scored for the Predators. Colin Martinhook had a great game for Nashville picking up an assists, recording four shots on goal, and ending the game a +1. Brent Seabrook also provided many chances registering five shots on goal. The Haula-Bailey-Nash line was strong for the Predators creating many chances during the game.

GAME #67

Predators 2

Shots on Goal: 40-31




Willie Nylander has a three point and a whopping eleven shots, while Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scores twice as Predators can’t contain Oilers offense. Sean Day looked like his old self today registering five shots on net while blocking four in the loss. The Predators third line struggled being exposed on defense and ending the game a -2. Although held pointless, Rich Nash had a strong game registering six shots on net and throwing four hits.

Shots on Goal: 33-31




Yves Blanchette scores twice, Brent Seabrook and Jammu Parkkonen each have assists, as Predators overcome three point night from Steve Reeds to win 6-4. The third line of Blanchette-Smith-Mohler was dominant in this game recording eleven shots between them and finishing the game an outstanding +4. The fourth line of Aberg-Blindh-Steppan struggled for Nashville not generating any sort of momentum. The bottom pairing of Milan and Martinhhook was solid in their limited ice time.

GAME #69

Avalanche 2
Predators 3

Shots on Goal: 38-37




Nashville scores three times in the third, holds off a furious comeback by Colorado in the third to escape with a 3-2 victory. Sean Day and Jammu Parkkonen were solid as the shutdown pair for the Predators recording five shots on net, five blocked shots, and three hits between them while finishing a plus one. Brent Seabrook was also throwing his weight around as he finished with five hits. Nicklas Backstrom had a strong game despite being held pointless, while Louis-Philip Guindon made 36 saves in the win.
