Minnesota’s John Cullen quieted the crowd down with a goal 3:27 in.

Dave Taylor then scored two in a row, followed by a
Ciccarelli goal. After a period, the crowd was dead silent. With that start, the
North Stars were on easy street for the rest of game one. 9-3
