Before we prepare for the 1913 season, let’s look back at 1912 one last time.
I’d be curious to know if any of you who have been following along have a favorite moment from the 1912 season?
Jon Simon’s wall-off home run on opening day?
Robert Day’s unlikely 3 homer game?
Eddie Dollard’s 6-hit game?
Devon Carlson’s 2 homer performance in the All-Star game?
Danny Sosa’s game winning homer in game 2 of the Eastern Conference Championships?
Matt Bracken’s 3 run home run in game 2 of the Western Conference Championships completing the comeback?
Bobby Compton’s dominant game 4 performance in the Western Conference Championships?
Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Championships, highlighted by Justin Blohm’s 2 run double in the 8th that gave Tucson the lead for good?
George Luedtke’s 4-4 performance in game 2 of the Arizona Series, including 2 home runs and 4 RBI?
Something else?
For me, It’s the Bracken home run in game 2 of the ECC. I pictured that moment in my head as I read and wrote about it and the image keeps coming back to me.
