Walkers news: May 29 -- St. Louis 4, Madison 2

Record: 26-21, 2nd (Tied/w. Cedar Rapids), 5 GB Des Moines
Rhy Hoskins gave St. Louis the lead for good with a two-run homer in the third inning and drove in three runs altogether to help the River Walkers end a six-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over Madison at Comiskey Park.
Hoskins two-run blast came off Muskies starting pitcher Sal Romano.

He later drove in the River Walkers' final run with a one-out single off Juan Minaya in the ninth inning. Ender Inciarte's run made it 4-2.
Nicky Delmonico delivered St. Louis other run with a solo homer off Romano in the sixth.
St. Louis starting pitcher Aaron Nola turned in a solid outing, lasting six inning during which he allowed one run on three hits. He struck out nine and walked two.
Four relievers -- John Curtiss (0.2 IP), Jake Diekman (0.2), Reyes Moronta (0.2) and Daniel Hudson (1.0) -- combined to finish the game. Hudson earned his second save with a scoreless ninth.
