Actually it cannot yet. Since it doesn't explain anything.
I am experiencing a crash using a custom league of imported and edited players. If I exit the program with this league as the selected league, any attempt to re-open the program leads to a crash error immediately after the load bar finishes, where you would usually select from the menu. If i select the default league before closing, it loads the game and league fine, usually. Since i prefer to play the custom league, it adds an extra step and extra minute of load/exit time to the game. If i don't follow these steps, i have to re-install to get it to load. Simply fiddling with the out of game setup does nothing, the crash is still there. Other than being annoying, particularily if I forget, its not a problem. the league still works fine apparently (other than the closer saves bug in 6.11).
Upon reflection, I believe i recently updated my graphics card drivers. I haven't noticed any problems with other games/programs however.
