So you unzipped the DB ver 4.5 into the "C:\Scott" directory ("Scott" folder) on your C:\ drive? Sometimes users just save the Lahman Zip file in their destination folder without unzipping it first
. Also, path errors are common here, double check there is a "C:\Scott" directory ("Scott" folder on the C:\ drive).
If neither of those initial idea's apply to your problem, then maybe someone else has some solutions... in the meantime maybe give some system info too. If you are running a network-y version of windows (NT or XP or L1) and have some permissions set up that could cause a similar type of error. Also, if you do not have enough free hard drive space the Lahman import will crap out. There are other more rare causes for that type of error message, but I'll stick to the common reasons 1st to avoid alarm
