oh yeah... since the minute it became available.
not a big deal, just frustrating to build a 100+ win ballclub with a salary in the 50-60 mil range and still finish (as opposed to finnish) 2nd to the damn Yankees and their $130 mill payroll. just call me Billy Beane. maybe it's time to look at bringing in the wildcard to my league.
this is in a league using Gambo's DB. I'm seein some pretty wacky financial situations crop up, but it's produced some cool results. My goal was to take the Blue Jays from 77 and build them slowly into a powerhouse so that once Cecil Fielder hit his prime, I'd have a championship caliber team. I won the Series once, knocking the Yanks out of the playoff picture after they took the WS 4 years in a row. So that was pretty gratifying.
Still get the best results in fictional, but with both of my online leagues fictional, trying to go down some different routes for solo play.
