Check the league setup where it gives the number of ammy rounds and see what the number is set to. A few have reported that for some reason the game sets it for several 1,000 rounds and returning this number to what it should be corrects the problem. Well Amateur draft is set for the following:
Rounds:5
Time: Pre-Season
Enabled: Yes
under the Misc. Setup
I'll try manually re-entering the number, then run it again
EDIT: Same issue, hangs as soon as it gets to generating amateurs
