Adams, a journeyman from Trinidad and Tobago fought mainly in his homeland and then in Europe. Although he had no outstanding wins, Adams did take Cuban Omelio Agramonte into the eighth round and lost a decision to future Heavyweight Champ Ingemar Johansson.
