Sadly, I disagree. Perhaps that was his intent, but when many people read the title of a post.. it's their "sneak peek" into what the post is about. Since the majority of his dealt with his own personal problems with the game.. to me, that was part of his "tragic loss".
Either way.. I've never been to a board that wasn't riddled with complaints. No matter how good something is.. people will always find things to complain about. Perhaps it's human nature, perhaps it's just that some people are just so jaded and insecure that they have to find flaws in everything. Maybe I'm that way. I've complained some, tried to help some, and made some worthless posts. Who hasn't?!
Even in the quoted comments he presented his opinions as the opinions of the community. "The marginally acceptable game that it is.". Personally, since the update.. I'm quite happy with the game. Yes, DFA has caused some problems with work-arounds.. but oh well! I like the addition, as it makes it much more likely to be implemented and tweaked in v7. I don't find it marginally acceptable. Apparently I'm wrong, though.. since his opinion is stated as fact (The.. "that it is" part).
By the way.. since when are any of the forums on this board ENTIRELY filled with complaining? By my count.. there are many more honest questions, and constructive criticisms than there are posts that come off as simple whining, such as this one.
Anyhow, I'll hush now and hope this post quietly fades down the list, until it reaches a point where no one with a life would be digging that deeply. =)
