STANDINGS
78-42, #1 overall, 12.5 games ahead of Boston, 9-4 in the last 13
BAD NEWS
-Carl Sandoz (usually a .320+ hitter) is hitting a dismal .278. But hopefully, he's was just saving up for a strong finish for the year as he has done in the past.
-So far, the move to bring up Degal has shown no progress. But maybe this ML experience will inspire him to have a much stronger spring training.
GOOD NEWS
-We gained a game in our AL lead.
-We had a lot of extra inning games, but luckily, our Pen did a good job in holding on for some wins.
-Hal Andrew had been on a 0-4, 5 game stretch, but then won 3 consecutive POG awards giving up only 4R in 3 games.
Had to cut this update short as I'm having a real busy week.
