Both great choices for managers of the year.

For those who knock Cox on the "but the Braves lost in the first round of the playoffs": That doesn't fly this year. If they hadn't made the playoffs at all but finished second in their division and two games out of the wildcard race, Cox would still have been a candidate. This is a team that was supposed to be around .500 according to some of the more generous preseason projections.
