Currently the game scores this as follows: an out for the batter, an error on the outfielder, and an RBI for the outfielder.
Here's the problem: if the guy scored on an error, the batter should not get the RBI. If he scored on a sac fly, the batter should not get the out, and the outfielder should not get the error.
Reality check: in the real world, when a guy flies out and the outfielder throws home wildly, and there are no other runners on base to advance, no error is awarded and the play is scored as a sac fly. This is true even if the throw goes into one of the dugouts. Think about it: if there's only one runner on, and the fly is simply medium-depth, most runners on third will score. Often the throw is not even made. If the outfielder tries to take a remote chance to throw a strike to the plate, he shouldn't be penalized because his throw is off-line. And he isn't.
This is a bug. The proper way to score this is as a sac fly - no at-bat, no error and an RBI.

I can now confirm that this reported bug was not fixed in version 6.11. Can I please get an official confirmation that Markus will be notified of this?
Also, has there been any response on the throwing error bug also mentioned in this thread?
