in online leagues I think there was an issue with possible cheats. I got tired of messing with them in my solo league, they seemed to have minimal effect. plus signing them got to be a pain, the game wouldnt make enough of them to replace the ones who were retiring and leaving to many that were absolutely worthless (their ratings suck). I felt it was unrealistic, I didnt think there were that many coaches out there in the real world who were so horrible.
