I think the BIGGEST problem with ITP is that people seem to not understand the nature of what a "patch" is. Patches are to fix outstanding issues with a game. The problem is that people aren't looking for Markus to 'patch' the game but are looking to him to ADD features to version 1.0 and call it a patch. Markus would well be in his rights to take anything new added to the game and put it in version 2.0. Patches are to fix broken items - not add new features.

People arent upset about a "patch" or "update" or anything else thats been delivered. They are upset about being led on that there would be a big update, even to the point of soliciting suggestions on what to add, then having all those ideas vanish in the wind. If he adds it to 2.0 then say so and stop leading us on to support a product based on our good will and not whats been delivered.
See the link to the original post by Markus.. He says "Im going to PATCH it. what are the most glaring issues" Out of the two dozen or so issues brought up, only one was addressed. If thats a case of misjudging his time, well, then let me go. It doesnt make any difference, I will not reinstall it anyway
