I've done it, but it was for OOTP4. I think I uploaded it to baseballsimcentral. It takes a while to do, but it does work well. For OOTP6, you would have to alter it, because it's based on an older version of the database.

Mostly, you have to plan things out well ahead of time. Basically, I set it up so that there would be the same number of players in any given league. I gave everyone the same career length of six years and set had five rookies per team per year (it's good if you know how many teams there will be each year). That meant that importing in any given year would give 30 players per team.

There are different levels of difficulty. If you just want to make rookies that import each year for a draft, which is what I did, you only need to toy with the master, batting, pitching, and fielding csv's. If you want to assign teams, it's much more complicated.

If you want any specific advice, I can probably help, but it's been a couple of years, so I might not remember details.

I've been toying with the idea of doing this again, but I'm not sure how much people actually used it last time. I knew of a couple of people, but most people felt that the game already did a good job of making fictional rookies without my help.
