Bumped by an RLPA GM who knows the AI will outbid him for a certain crucial player if any clubs have to be taken over by the computer.

Also, last I heard the Cubs are now available: they have the first overall pick in the draft, /and/ they're not significantly worse off than the other teams in the league because, as Scott said, almost /everybody/'s a free agent, and almost every team has to fill out its whole roster in free agency.

I'm not the Commish, though, so I can't swear on my mother's grave the Cubbies are still open. But you can always e-mail him and ask.
