Whiskey Allen III, Irving "Mozart" Korr, Abraham "Grumpy" Noel, Kenneth Whitt, Boris "Dancing Bear" Zimyanin, Lex "Tanden Trekker" Tjeenk-Willink, Reggie "Speedy" O'Hara, Chip "Mr. 1 Million" Sinton, Ryan "Gorgeous" Xavier and Ray "Spud" Micks were added to the league for the 1948 season... Biggest group ever at 13 a season ago and now 10 this year, wow! Also added was John "Chief" Harrington, who Carlton graciously let me make our league's version of Satchel Paige.

Next up are Roger Joyce (Big Six), Scotch Allen (scprideandms), Alan Liao Jr (potatoman), Pete Pugliese (metsgeek), Reggie "Shorty" Xavier (Theowannabe) and William "Long Arms" Swofford (Theowannabe) in 1949.
