Um anyone seen this???
Well this is new.
For one, I have had many of the phantom ratings drops on a few of my important players for no reason in the league I am in. Pretty much complete bad luck.
Now this happens. I never seen this at all before either.
Part A
Have a SP 5 star (blue) prospect. 25yrs old ( We will call him Bob )
8 10 8 talent ratings.
Scouting report says " he clearly possesses immese talent. Looks to be a top starter for many years. Great instincts and determination".
Then our league sims the start of our new season ( 10 in game days ).
I go back over all my good players and prospects to check if they increased a # or dropped.
====================
Part B
Now the funny part. Bob turns 26yrs old during this sim so he converts to the gold star. A 1 gold star player! None of his ratings or talent #s changed. He is still rated 8 10 8 overall!
His scouting report now says
"Bob is destiend to be a career minor leaguers at best. He just is not a big league pitcher. Bob has good stuff but can become overly conscious of throwing strikes, and by forcing the issue, gives up way too many hits. ALthough he will give up the occasinonal HR, he is pretty good at keeping bals in the field of play. He has good control and can usually put his pitchers right where he wants them. He is not a big strikeout pitcher; batters generally get the wood on the ball against Bob. "
Anyone see a problem here?!?!?! He wasn't injured, he pitched 2 games in this first sim and is 0-1 3.00 era 15IP.
I just can not understand how he goes from Part A to Part B in one sim that he pitched well in, had no injuries and no talent increased or decrease. Just had a bday from age 25 to 26.
