Wasn't just Coors for Hampton...from '93-2000, Hampton had the best BA (.221) of any pitcher with 175+ at-bats (he had 299). That's 42 starting pitchers. He also had the best OBP (.292) and was 2nd in slugging (.278) to Steve Avery (.296).

Not good numbers, but better than his position dictates.
