Like it or not, the players and the fans do indicate the character of the franchise - particularly to those (like me) who don't watch the Yankees all that often. And what I've seen has frankly disgusted me.

I was asking you if you truly believe they should. I should have been more clear.
I understand that actions do affect the perspective of a franchise's character, but I think you can agree that they shouldn't (in the sense that it is unfortunate).
