Could not agree more. I like to do my scouting periodically and thoroughly and set up a "ghost team" which is a list of players I'd *like* to have at each position, all things being equal, especially the non-star or energing players. Too much bookeeping in OOTP6 to do this. But with shortlists and notifications, it's simplicity.

Also, to look at it from the other side it's nice to know if other teams are interested or tracking any of your guys. If you have a player you are debating trading, or even one you are sure you want to trade, knowing what teams are actually interested and have scouted the player is really nice.

Even something as simple filtering the list of teams to only those whose "weaknesses" include a certain position (when selecting the receiving team in the trade UI) would help out in the short term.
