For the record Patrick thought it was great, it was Dibble who said he didn't like it.. apparently after the game the Dodgers should have "hated" the Cardinals.
as for teams with great rivalries not wanting to do this... the Avs and Wings do it. I remember being a kid and going to Blues/Blackhawks playoff games and seeing them shake hands after beating each other up for 7 games. Those rivalries are (were with the Hawks/Blues) as heated as Yanks/Sox
