Just to let you know...

Cobb wasn't as racist as he got older...and the only reason he refused to play against Negro League teams was not because they were black, but in Cuba...they cheated. 2nd base was 3 inches further away from 1st then it should have been...Cobb figured it out after being thrown out 3 times...and had it measured.
He was correct, asked for it to be fixed...and they said no. He went back to the US vowing never to play them again
