So am I to understand you to be saying that EACH AND EVERY PLAYER who retires should be "announcing" his plans to retire? If that's the case, IMO that would not be realistic. I'd say most if not all moderately good players should announce, the rest probably not though some may. BTW-I don't know if it is a "bug" or not.
