Ok here's the scenario.
Divisional Series
A's (me) 2 - Twins 2
Game 5 Top of the 8th
I'm up by two runs with Derek Jeter on second. Bring in my best reliever to shut the door. Nope. He balks Jeter to third and then throws it to the screen allowing Jeter to score. Manages to get the third out after allowing Jeter two free bases. Then in a total change of pace he strikes out the first two batters in the ninth and ends the game on a foul pop. One dinger away from becoming trade bait saved by a perfect ninth.
Anyone else like to share their hair-pulling adventures.
