After playing PTP and Diamond Mind for 20-some years and this is my first time with OOTP, I am more into being the GM and not the coach. I want to make the trades and let the coaches do what I hired them for...to coach. I make the changes for my team in the majors and the minors. I sim week-to-week but I might have missed an important pickup if I had not had an injury when I checked the WW and pickup a really good AAA player that I had traded a month earlier. The AI used him at the major league level for a few starts and didn't like him and put him on waivers and I got him back. I like to sim day-to-day when I can (when the wife isen't around as she gripes when I'm on the computer all the time) I sim week-to-week. You might miss a few things going from week-to-week.
