My friends and I play a "solo" league together using a remote desktop program called VNC. Everyone plays out his own team's games, and the rest are simmed. This allows for head to head play too. It works great. Typically we play 2-4 games per day. Everyone does own the game btw
We'd play as an online league if it was possible to play out the games in that mode... and if there was head to head play.
