There's no logic to taking the latest offer. None.
I see your point that in a bidding war, yes, offers would be going up. Of course, that only happens if teams know everyone else's offers and top them. In real life I can see it as agents no doubt will feed offer info among teams to get their guy the best deal. In OOTP, I don't see that happening, we don't have any agents.
Teams shouldn't be able to throw a low ball offer in there near the end and scoop the guy up. The AI
should be smarter then that........
No way the AI should accept the most recent offer over clearly better offers. We're not talking a couple hundred K here.
