A little bit of a delay in the next report as I am working on getting the college basketball up and running. I started my TDCB league in 1932-33 (although you can't actually change the start year from 2002-2003) and will sim some history before we pick up the reports in January of 1947.

There is very little college basketball history of any detail that I can find online so I have had to improvise a lot with this. I think I have the right schools for the most part as the dominant ones for the era. Oklahoma A&M, Holy Cross, NYU, CCNY are among those who will be powerhouses in this era.

I am adding real all-americans to the league and also all the pro players as the BAA approaches. For next season (1947-48) I am going to add TPB2 to the mix for my NBA simming. This way the college stars can be imported directly to the NBA league. However, they may not necessarily attend the same schools as they did in real life because I am creating all of them as high school seniors and letting things develop entirely within the game. It will certainly be a fictionalized history but one that I hope proves an entertaining compliment to the other sports in my universe.

Btw, these sports do seem to combine somewhat as I am discovering things like Otto Graham played college basketball as well as college football at Northwestern before joining the Browns. Many baseball players also played college hoops before their OOTP days.

Here is an early peak into the college basketball history. The scores will not represent the era properly because the game is tailored for todays conditions (3-pointer, shot clock etc) but it is still a very enjoyable game.
