I'll be more explicit about my situation.

I can't run CatoBase on my computer, since it doesn't like the date format and gives me a ton of error messages. However, I had a pretty good grasp of how the software worked, so I asked someone else to run it, and I would help him run the software.

I have 5 years to import, 2005 through 2009. The first four are OOTP5, and 2009 is OOTP6. 2005, 2006 and 2008 run smoothly, but I don't have the League_News_Box folder for 2007 and 2009. I, however, have the generated HTML pages for both years. Basically, I have ltrans.html and lnews.html, but neither .txt file. I "built" correct txt pages for lnews, but ltrans seems like hell to do. Anyway, that's when I saw this thread.

Since I don't run the program on my computer and my "helper" isn't online right now, I don't know at exactly what moment CatoBase gives you the "file not found" prompt, or where it stops functioning.

What I gather from this thread is that I should give the following instructions to my man:
  1. Import 2007 Stats with "Run Exporter" checked on.
  2. Remove the 2007 season.
  3. Put html files in "data" folder.
  4. Import 2007 Stats.

Am I missing something, will this work? What instructions should I give my helper? Or am I just screwed no matter what if I don't have txt files?
