Abraham Nunez's RBI double in the top of the 6th was all the Marlins needed, as they shutout the Astros 2-0. A.J. Burnett went 6, allowing 3 hits, as his counterpart Roger Clemens went 7, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs.

Joe Roa got a rude awakening, giving up 4 runs on a Biggio leadoff HR and a Bagwell 3 run HR, before the first out was even recorded. In the 4th Biggio hit a 2 run bomb, and Roa was promptly yanked. The Astros big inning was the 6th, where they scored 6 runs to put the game out of reach. Roy Oswalt pitched 7.2 innings of 4 hit, 1 run ball.

Buchholz didn't pitch any better than Pettitte had been, allowing 6 runs in only 4 innings. The Astros never did get close after that, only scoring 3 runs. Richard Hidalgo hit a home run, but it didn't help.
