But my problem is that even after editing every single player in the league, it seems not to matter. The game seems to be ignoring days of service, it only pays attention to years.

A player who has played 900 days (not enough for free agency) over 8 seasons will show something like "Years of MLB Service: 8 years, 40 days (900 total days)" and be eligible for free agency.

The game seems to only be paying attention to years played, and not the days of service. If I change the years played so it is less than 6, then I am betting as soon as it reaches 6, regardless whether the player has yet reached the 1032 days, he will again be seen as FA eligible.

I really don't know what to do, unless I go through every player after every season to make sure the FA eligiblity is correct. Which I really don't wanna do.

And even if the game accurately counts days of service for players who come up through OOTP6, are we sure it will pay attention to the days of service and not the years?
