Unfortunately, calculating MLB days is not nearly as simple as calculating pro years. In the 2nd thread I show that I eyeballed the best of the results from 2 formulas (the original formula I posted is not one of them) or split the difference. I'll leave it up to you guys how you think most people would want to use this. It might be best to split the difference between the 2 formulas for the utility.
As for options, that's even more difficult because if they were in the minors first then brought up, they should be fine (no option used), but not the other way. It's nearly impossible to tell this for most players though. So for players drafted in the initial year I'm going to leave their options at whatever it is. It's the full 3 for new amateurs this year (assuming you have not simmed at all this year). And for players drafted in between, well last year's would have a minimum (could have more, but must have at least) 2 left, 2 years ago draftees would have a min of 1, and 3 years ago or more could have 0.

I think the formula above works just fine for Pro Service Years. If they are real major leaguers, their prior years of stats show up in the utility, so you won't have Barry Bonds with only 2 Years of Pro Service, unless you didn't bring in his prior career stats of course.
