Waddell is actually not pulled from the game but chases a firetruck as it zooms by...after arriving late by playing marbles with the kids before gametime and walking through the crowd to the mound 3 minutes before gametime. Connie Mack fines Waddell $500 dollars but Rube will borrow that back in September when he takes off fishing for a week. I actually made this up...but these are true Waddell stories.

JUNE AWARDS

American League-Pitcher of the Month:
Cy Young (BOS)!
He had a record of 6-2 in 8 games started, with an ERA of 1.54 and 1 shutouts.

American League-Batter of the Month:
Scoops Carey (WS1)!
He batted .355 in 124 AB, with 0 homers and 27 RBI.

National League-Pitcher of the Month:
Jake Weimer (CHN)!
He had a record of 7-1 in 8 games started, with an ERA of 2.03 and 3 shutouts.

National League-Batter of the Month:
Honus Wagner (PIT)!
He batted .355 in 110 AB, with 1 homers and 21 RBI.

Overall this was the best MONTH...I ever had in a MLB replay or ANY league...so many records...pulling for Nichols and Young...and Jake Weimer...who never amounted to anything before...plus just seeing Addie Joss at 2-8 with a 4.80 ERA is amazing and then getting demoted to the bullpen because of the AI evaluation considering 1903 stats above all else.
