Well, I feel a very competetive AI is more important than historical mode. Just my opinion. I feel you're asking a game to have multiple sim engines and not perfecting what really needs it first. I can at timesbe like opening a can of worms. Without an extremely good solo experience, any sports sim is destined for failure. CM and FOF come to mind as two of the best. This year's OOTP is the on;y one I have found to be somewhat competent as a solo experience, but it needs much more.
