I had a four star prospect, 24 yrs old, as the Ace of my staff. He was 9-2 with a mid 3 ERA in the bigs untill his ratings took a sudden hit. He is now a three-star prospect and would be no better than the 4th pitcher to throw in my staff.

A couple of questions...

1) Is this normal?

2) Should I demote him to AAA?

3) Will he be able to gain this back?
