The
Elite Baseball League has a vacancy and is looking for a few solid, dedicated owners.
With the changeover to v6, a few vacancies have arisen - Orlando, Oak Street, Hartford and Los Angeles need owners who have v6 and want to compete in a good, solid league that's been around a long time (this will be our 12th season).
The league originally started as an OOTP v3 league under Heath Peters in November, 2001, with 30 teams involved in an initial draft. In May, 2003, prior to the 2007 season, we moved to OOTP v5 and in July, 2004, prior to the 2012 season, we upgraded to v6.
The EBL is one of the toughest around, with some of the best and brightest owners going. It is also one of the best leagues in terms of participation, with a participation level, sim in and sim out, of about 90%. While there are some dynasties, in the playoffs anything can happen and usually the best team chokes. The league has 18 games of inter-league play and the American League uses the designated hitter, while the National League does not.
When sending me an email, let me know your OOTP experience, any leagues you have been in or are currently in. Please include URLs of the past or present leagues, as I prefer to get recommendations about prospective owners from other Commishes or owners I know in order to avoid constant team turnover.
Cheers,
Dean Gordon
