And I hate to get all sentimental here...but look at the big deal Pat Tillman caused as a player in this era...and he was the only one!!!!
50 or even a hundred minor leaguers during our grandparents (or parents) time served...Greenberg being a great example of what was important at the time, you'd NEVER see that nowadays and with someone like Tillman they only praised him after he died, thought he was nuts when he enlisted...
