Actually, the HR totals have been there for a long time, it's just that the individual totals weren't as realistic... In other words, the league totals were right on, but no one was hitting 40+... the HR's were being spread around more... I did some editing to help fix that...
As for Sal Rossi... do you think he'd be remembered like Lou? I mean, the A's aren't exactly the RL Yanks for the 30's and Lou led the league in HRs and RBIs quite frequently....
