I don't know much about databases (read, nothing at all) and thought the type mismatch was probably innocent enough. But like I said, I don't know jack about that sort of stuff.

I tried starting from scratch with new databases, tried removing all traces of CatoBase and reinstalling it, but I keep getting the same problems.

One side note is that I did try and remove the paranthetical "(0)" from the A1 cell in a few of the csv files, and when I saved them, it commented that they weren't saved in Excel 97 format (which is what I'm running), and asked me if I wanted to resave them in Excel 97 form.

Is that the problem? Should I alter and resave all those csv files in excel 97 form? But if they weren't saved in excel 97 format to begin with, what the hell were they saved as and why can I view and edit them with excel 97??!!!
