Does anyone know Andy Abad? Well in cause you dont know hes a 30 year old career minor leaguer.... Well he's in this league I was running. Andy Abad went from a back up at 1B to well les a middle reliever throwing 50+ innings now. WTF this is no bs here either. Abad threw 53.1 innings this last season compiling a 5-3 record 3 saves a .250 BAA .324 OBP .395 SLG for a total of a 1.38 WHIP and a 3.78 ERA. I know it feels like "hey I got something out of a guy i didnt expect anything" but hes not a pitcher and hes doing it.... I have 11 pitchers on the team Abad is on so its not that they have a shortage of arms.
His overall stuff is a 6 control a 1 and his movment a stunning 20. Yet hes turned into a good solid RP. I have seen some wierd stuff in OOTP but this is frankly one of my most humoress moments. I'm thinking about continuing on past this season just to see what Abad can do in the pen. |
