I think I've figured a simple work-around for this problem: Just edit every team's cash to $0. If they don't have the cash to use in trades, then I'm guessing they won't. And, with financials turned off, they should never make any cash in the future (I hope). Too bad I can't implement it retroactively in my solo league...ah well.
