Since prior versions of OOTP5 didn't really track Pro Years correctly, the conversion to OOTP6 doesn't really result in accurate numbers.

It seems to me that it would be possible to program a utility that would help fix this though.

Since Years of Pro Service is basically the number of years that have passed since a player was drafted, would it be possible to design a program that could count how many years there are between the first year of minor or major league stats for a player and the current season? Obviously, since minor league career stats weren't tracked prior to OOTP5 I believe this wouldn't be perfectly accurate, but it would be much closer than the way it is now.

I am looking at the prospect of manually adjusting hundreds and hundreds of players just so their Rule 5 and Minor League FA status is accurate.

If a utility could be created to do this (similar to Pierre's quick fix for OOTP5 to fix Service Time), it would help many commissioners out there after conversion.
