This may or may not be your problem, but if you install a font while your program (like Photoshop) is open, you will need to exit and then restart the program, otherwise it won't recognize the new font.

Another possibility is that you're installing them into the wrong place (though I doubt it). Like pat said, they need to be extracted (installed) into the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.

Let us know if you're still having problems.

EDIT - what graphics program are you using?
