Game 31 - Roughnecks 9, Miracle 8. Blake Everett did not fare too well this game as he gives up 7 earned in just over 5 innings. Luckily the bullpen and the hitters picked up the slack. Michael Price hit his 7th of the year a solo shot. Archie Chapman and Michael both went 3-4, driving in 1 each. Kenton Smith went 2-4 and drove in 2. Johnson O'Brien had 2 hits and drove in 3. Justin Bozarth got the win in relief and Arthur got the save. 35 year old First Baseman Travis Beus led the way going 4-5 with 3 ribbies for Orlando.
Game 32 - Miracle 1, Roughnecks 0. It took 32 games but I was shut out for the first time this year in a great pitchers duel. Barney Cordova went 7 and got a no-decision. Clifford Flax a first round pick (8th overall) in 1926 out of Moreno Valley, CA is only making his 2nd start in the majors and pitched a gem giving up 2 hits in 8.2 innings. Justin Bozarth gets the loss for the Roughnecks at Orlando Stadium.

Arthur Freshour gave up 1 run in his inning of relief but holds on for his 11th save. 26 year old Alexander Seidman runs his horrendous start to 0-7, 5.34. 3B Mark 'Long Haul' Isham went 2-3 with a 3 run home run (5) in the losing cause.
Game 34 - Roughnecks 3, Tidecats 2. Detroit goes home to Detroit Stadium and picks up where they left off and leave the field winners again. Leslie Aaron hit a solo shot, and Michael Price hit's a walk-off home run with 2 out to win the game. 1B Robert Stipe went 3-4 for Miami. Gregory Volkman had another nice start lasting over 6 innings and giving up 2. James Bernardini gets the win. On the TRANSACTION front the waiver wire has former # 2 overall pick SP Sean Breeding listed and he has had some low WHIPs in A Ball and if I get him he would go straight to Flint to try out AA.
Game 35 - Roughnecks 5, Tidecats 4. Trap Door and Leslie Aaron each drive in 2. Leslie hits home run # 6. Richard Davis gives up 4 in 6 and walks 5 while striking out 8. Lorenzo Whitehouse gets the W to move to 1-3. Robert Stipe is among 3 Tidecats with 2 hits a piece. Around the league, Harry Maltby (3-2) pitched a no hitter for Las Vegas Stars vs the Jacksonville Diamond Jaxx. He walked 4 in the 127 pitch effort.

Robert Stipe and CF Robert Bailey each had 2 hits for the Tidecats who look the avoid the 4 game sweep tomorrow. On the TRANSACTION front we did end up winning the race for Sean Breeding and he is now with Flint.
